Get To Know Our New Interns!

Our 2021 interns are excited to be part of our team

Here at KRS, we are grateful to still be operating during these crazy times. We are even more grateful that we are able to continue our internship program to young and growing minds! In 2021, we onboarded three new interns. Take a moment to learn more about them:

Welcome Faith!

Faith Robles, 2021 KRS internHi! My name is Faith Robles. I am an accounting intern here at KRS CPAs. I am a senior at Ramapo College of New Jersey so I will be graduating this May 2021. How exciting! I made the decision to study accounting back in 2014 in my sophomore year of high school where I took financial accounting. I enjoyed learning the basics and loved that there is so much one can do in this field. One of my future goals is to start studying and pass the CPA exam. From what I heard it will not be easy. I know I will be able to learn a lot from this internship. Though I am very excited to finally put what I learn in the classroom into actual work.

A fun fact about me is I love to travel, sadly I was not able to go anywhere in 2020. But my favorite place I’ve been to was Iceland, which is where the photo of me is taken. I like how everyone here at KRS is very welcoming and kind, my own cubicle, and I love the Keurig because I love coffee!

Welcome Sarah!

Sarah Sandlin, 2021 KRS internMy name is Sarah Sandlin and I am an Administrative Intern at KRS. This means that I scan documents, file, help with mail, or help in any other way that I can! I am majoring in accounting at Montclair State University. I decided to major in accounting because it is a very stable career but it also promotes growth and change. I hope that I get a lot out of this internship and I’m sure I will. It has only been a couple of weeks and I have already learned so much, which is great because my main goal is to continue to grow and learn while here.

A fun fact about me is that I used to work at a Nerf Gun Arena. It was my first job where I learned a lot of skills that I try to incorporate in my work now. What I like about working at KRS so far is those who are helping me, Jen, Roanne, and Patricia, have been very helpful and understanding. In fact, everyone has been warm and welcoming. I can’t wait to continue to intern here and continue to learn.

Welcome Jake!

Jake, 2021 KRS internHi, my name is Jake. I am working as an administrative intern tasked with scanning, filing, and organizing documents for tax season. I am studying accounting at Rutgers University because I find the accounting field challenging and interesting. From this internship, I would like to learn more about the accounting profession while making connections to help my future career path.

A fun fact about me is that I grew up playing baseball and plan on playing for the club baseball team next fall. Thus far, I like the workplace environment KRS has, everyone always has a smile on their face!
